The 'Delargo Towers' Garden - May

Here I am again me dears. I have at last started to repair the damage inflicted on me blog by photo Bucket removing my photos.
It has taken me awhile to get this project going and I am doing so not in 2017 but as 2018 is about to turn into 2019.
Firstly I need to fill in the missing months garden posts ( May to January ) then replace the missing years worth of photos on the previous posts
Wish me luck and here we go with May 2017

The cottage border looking rather fab with some old favorites

Nicotiana mutabilis with -

Allium aflatunense “Purple Sensation” and Allium stipitatum “Mount Everest”

Thalictrum aquilegiifolium

and our lovely Delphiniums  “Blue Fountains”  grown from seed and rescued from the last garden

They looked fab with the giant fox glove.

new for us this year Ammi majus and again grown from seed.

no cotage garden would be complete with out Aquilegia this is “Swan mixed and they looked fab for ages.

the hot or red and yellow border and  a new project this year the fuchsia wall.

Geum “Blazing Sunset” and Kniphofia (“Red Hot Poker”) worked well together

we hates this so its days were numbered

and it was not long before it went into the compost bin.

Papaver orientale (Oriental poppy) "Royal Wedding" we were hopping to create a new mainly white border.

We are very proud of this rose taken as a cutting

Rosa 'Veilchenblau'

dianthus super trouper sissy giving lovely scent in our seating area.

there were plenty of things coming to fill any gaps in the Summer to come.
