The Gardens of Delargo Towers - March

Hello there me dears. Its the end of March and Easter week end with the forecast still bleak here at Delargo Towers well into April.

The coldest March for 50 years and no end to the cold weather insight there is not much to see this month but as always lots to look forward to once spring has sprung.

So pretty much like last month with the daffs doing sterling work adding colour to the front.

Fuchsias are sprouting and the mints are waiting to rocket away.

Campanula, geranium, centauria, bluebells and aqualegia.

The delphiniums and lupins are looking good.

and its still fingers crossed for the hollyhock.

Just coming into flower now is the lovely wood anemone with lots more to come I hope.

Iris not such a good show this year but always a joy.

As with every post good old pelargonium ( Duckett road ) is making sure that there is always something in flower every day of the year.

To finish off I have treated my self to some goodies, rather than brave the damp and cold to start sowing seeds.
